The Gotland Convention Bureau is a member of the following trade associations and networks.
Meeting Professionals International will be the pivotal force in positioning meetings and events as strategic components of organizational success. Meeting Professionals International is the leading global association that defines and shapes the meetings and events profession.
SBTA, the Swedish Business Travel Association, was founded in 1983. The association currently has 360 members. The majority of these are companies and organizations that purchase travel services. Members of the association also include companies that supply services - such as airlines, railway companies, hotels, car rental companies, consultants, travel agencies, charge card companies and others. SBTA follows and influences development within the business travel sector through its contacts with producers and authorities. The association arranges courses and seminars for more in-depth knowledge of Travel Management. SBTA is also a network in which the association's members can discuss common issues.
HSMAI is a global organization of sales and marketing professionals representing all segments of the hospitality industry. With a strong focus on education, HSMAI has become the industry champion in identifying and communicating trends in the hospitality industry while operating as a leading voice for both hospitality and sales and marketing management disciplines, as well as connecting its members with customers. Founded in 1927, HSMAI is an individual membership organization comprised of nearly 7,000 members from 35 countries and chapters worldwide.
